Closing a position is a two-step process:

  1. Press the "Close Position" button to set your position to 0, confirm the transaction in the dialog

  2. After the close position transaction is confirmed, similar to when opening a trade, a delayed settlement occurs to avoid obvious arbitrage opportunities. The user must wait for the next oracle update occurs before their exposure is fully closed by the protocol.

  3. Once the position is close, press the Withdraw Collateral button to withdraw your USDC from Perennial.
